How Neurofeedback helps your Child’s Brain Self-Regulate

Carolyn trained as a Neurofeedback practitioner and has been using this approach in her work with children. Neurofeedback is a gentle, non-invasive way of helping the brain learn to regulate itself better. It works a little bit like a mirror for the brain. Sensors are placed on your child’s head to “listen in” to their brain activity.

Animal Assisted Play Therapy Level 2 Training at Turn About Pegasus in Northumberland

Last week, I spent four days in beautiful Northumberland for the next stage of my training to become a Certified Professional Practitioner in Animal Assisted Play Therapy® (AAPT). Cassie joined me for the trip, and we met some wonderful people and their dogs along the way. Arlo and Cosmo were her training pals! It was a warm, welcoming group, and the connection between everyone, human and animal, was at the heart of the work.
